Architecture & Governance Magazine Records Sharp Growth with Addition of Online Community
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) May 12, 2009 -- Architecture and Governance Magazine (known as A&G) today announced record subscriber growth driven by both a new emphasis on building online community, and the underlying market growth of the Strategic IT Planning and Enterprise Architecture sectors. Launched in the spring of 2005, A&G subscriber growth, as measured by qualified community members, is now increasing at a rate of 66% year-over-year, with well over 10,000 subscribers.
This makes A&G the largest online community for Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Strategic IT Planning professionals.
"Our professionals are finding real value in the community-aspect of A&G. They appreciate our focused and insightful editorial content, which has always been a hallmark at A&G, and the ability to interact with that content and with each other," said George Paras, editor-in-chief, Architecture & Governance.
"The move from a print-based magazine to a community-driven, online presence has driven growth beyond our expectations," continued Paras. "This combined with the growth and renewed focus on Enterprise Architecture, Strategic IT Planning and Governance is driving participation and interest in A&G's content."
Community Represents Global and Industry Diversity
The A&G community boosts representation from across the globe. Sixty-six percent (66%) are from North America, 25% are from EMEA (Europe, Middle East), 6% are from APAC (Asia Pacific Region), and 3% represents ROW (rest of world). Almost 40% of subscribers are executives, with managerial and budget responsibility.
In terms of industry representation, community members represent the broader technology sector as well as verticals including, finance and banking, the federal sector, insurance, telecommunication, utilities, healthcare, manufacturing and others.
Extension of A&G Community
